This page explains what data we process when you browse arkanlis.com or write to us, why we do so, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. We use no third-party analytics service and never sell any data.

Data collected and purposes

Contact form

Last name, first name, email address and, where provided, telephone, company, subject and the content of your message. This data is used solely to handle your request and reply to you. Legal basis: your own initiative, which falls under pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Delivery logging

Every request is stored in our database before the notification email is sent, and every send attempt is logged. This prevents your message from being lost if the mail system fails. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in ensuring the reliability of the service.

Website analytics

Pages viewed, date and time, referring page, browser language, device type, browser and operating system, plus country and region derived from the IP address. The IP address is anonymised before storage and is never kept in clear form. Measurement is carried out with our own tools, with no advertising cookie and no transfer to a third party. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, within the consent-exemption conditions set out by the French data protection authority.

Cookies

The site sets only cookies strictly necessary for its operation, which do not require your consent: a session identifier for analytics, a cookie remembering your chosen language, and an authentication cookie limited to our administration area. No advertising cookie, no social network tracker, no sharing with advertisers.

Recipients

Your data is accessible only to Arkanlis staff handling your request. It is hosted by Heliaq, a provider certified to ISO/IEC 27001, acting as a processor under the GDPR. No data is sold, rented or passed on for advertising purposes.

Retention periods

  • Contact requests: three years from the last exchange, then deleted.
  • Email delivery logs: twelve months, for evidence and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Analytics data: thirteen months, in line with the French data protection authority's recommendation.
  • Technical and error logs: twelve months at most.

Security

Exchanges with the site are encrypted over HTTPS. Access to data is restricted to authorised staff and protected by two-factor authentication. Hosting is dedicated, with environments isolated per client, at a provider certified to ISO/IEC 27001. IP addresses are anonymised at the point of collection.

Transfers outside the European Union

Data collected through this website is hosted and processed within the European Union. No transfer to a third country takes place in connection with browsing the site or using the contact form.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to contact@arkanlis.com: we reply within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or at cnil.fr.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The date of the latest update appears below.
